Skills for YOUR Success Workshop Information

Fall Workshop CANCELED due to COVID-19

Skills for YOUR Success Workshop is designed to enhance your employability skills through resume improvement, better prepare you for interviews, and learn business etiquette.  You will learn and hear from industry professionals, participate in a mock interview, have an opportunity to network during lunch, and receive individual feedback at the end of the workshop.


21st Century Academy Juniors applying for a Work Based Learning (WBL) experience during their Senior year.


1.  First half of workshop will consist of 3 sessions:
  “How to Get and Succeed at an Interview”
  “Your Resume and 30 second Elevator Pitch”
  “Business Etiquette”
2.  Mock interview with industry professionals following sessions. 
     You will need to bring three printed copies of your resume.
3.  Lunch will be provided and students will eat with industry
     professionals to practice networking skills.

What you need to KNOW…

Space is limited to approximately 100 students.

You are responsible for transportation to and from the event.

Arrive at least 10 minutes early to allow time for parking and signing in.

Dress appropriately for the event:  professional dress, no jeans or athletic wear.

If you need to cancel your registration, please send a courtesy email to Cat Harland ( PRIOR to the event date.
